After passing by several times and finding it closed due to Covid restrictions, I finally had a drink at this restaurant. The staff were great - knowledgeable and friendly. They had a really good selection, and I enjoyed my pint before catching a train home. I highly recommend this place.
Before our trip to Warwick, we did some research on places known for great beer and this spot met many of our criteria. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, they were not able to offer their full range of tap beers for takeaway or accommodate as many customers for in-house drinking as they normally would. Despite this, there were still plenty of beer options to choose from. During our first visit, we enjoyed a drink there and tried a few of the local bottled beers, as well as the Verdant beer on tap. The next day, we returned to purchase more bottles and cans to take home with us. Both times, we found the atmosphere to be friendly and laid-back, and the owner was helpful in recommending beers for us to try, including ones from the local area. We would highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a diverse selection of beers, whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking to explore something new.
I love this place. Really nice atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Over the last couple of years I’ve bought bottles and cans from here and frequently filled my “growler” with the drought ales they have to offer. The only thing is that I do find it is quite pricey at times but then if you are after quality beer then you need not go further so go treat yourself.
Looked in by chance and glad I did. Excellent selection and now I know it’s there I’ll make sure to return when I have more time.
