The Rivercross Indian

What has happened to our favourite Indian takeaway?! Why did a puddle of water accompany our curries? Why did the prawns taste weeks old? Unfortunately this is not the same standard as what you normally get and I really hope this is just a blip.

The Rivercross was always our go to for Indian food, but haven't been for a while We ordered a takeaway the two Korma were inedible the chapattis had a strange taste. The prawns were chewy tasted too fishy, so wasn't going to take the chance of food poisoning, the sauce was watery and we had suspicions it had been frozen reheated. Tbf my Salmon Sambar was fine We phoned them to let them know our thoughts were promised a refund on the Korma However they then contacted us to say there was nothing wrong with the food we wouldn't receive a refund Disappointing that the food was so poor they didn't keep to their word, won't be going again

We visited this place when it first opened and it was very nice. Now, it's the total opposite. The food is well below par, we had a mixed grill. The portion size was very small, the food looked like it was reheated, and the sheesh kebab just crumbled. There was no ambience, the decor looked dated. Pleasant staff, but we won't return here again.

First take out from there. On arrival staff very helpful and really warm. Not had before so tried lamb an spinach which was excellent. My hubby had a chicken biranyal chicken was dry and tasteless, would not stop me going but would not have that dish again.

This is the first time I have eaten here, despite living in warwick for nearly 4 years. I have definitely been missing out! Amazing food, tasted really really nice, very friendly staff, and lovely atmosphere.
