New Wasaga Halibut Fish and Chips

Please be aware that this restaurant closes at 2:30pm every day except for Fridays. The owner has a unique blend of strictness and warmth, similar to that of a grandmother.

This restaurant should be avoided at all costs. The waitress insulted me as soon as I arrived, saying that I couldn't count. The service was slow, as we waited an hour for our food.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, delicious food with generous servings, fast service, and the highlight is the availability of gluten-free bread.

We decided to try a new restaurant for Friday night fish and chips. The halibut and chips are excellent, very tasty and a generous portion; the service is very prompt and friendly. Actually I think the fish is one of the best I have had in a long time. We also ordered a caesar salad but were very disappointed when it came. It was loaded with simulated bacon bits, which I thought were almost obsolete in today's market where 'fake' food is not usually served and frowned upon. I mentioned to the staff that I was not pleased and they took my suggestion well to purchase some good 'real bacon bits' from the local Costco.

The halibut and chips were excellent. I have a thing for tartar sauce and this is the best anywhere. Owners are pleasant and service was fast.
