I do not understand why this place is called that, as my experience did not match the name at all. The taste of the food was okay, but I was disappointed by the cold or lukewarm meat and the over-toasted pita after just one bite. I asked for a fresh pita for myself and a child, but the person at the counter refused. Their attitude was arrogant and the customer service was poor.
As locals, we frequently dine at Blue Shores. While we have yet to try their pitas, we can attest that their fish and chips are excellent. The real standout, however, are the freshly-cut fries - just as they should be.
Had the Fish Chips on Sept. 4/14 at Pita Palace and it was excellent. Fish tasted great, batter was tasty as well. And the fresh cut fries were phenomenal haven't had such good fries in decades much better than the processed and chemically infused fries at the fast food chains. Ed
Good Friday disgusting fish and chips, pathetic looking interior, disorganized staff. Ordered a 2 piece fish n chips but ended up with about 5 small chunks of it, 2 of which were fish less (just pure batter). Both the fish/batter and fries were completely soaked in grease the worst fish and chips I've ever had.I guess the moral of the story is, don't go to a pita place for fish n chips! Staff was fairly friendly but were a little young and very slow, disorganized. Now, on to the interior of the place...2 different tables and different chairs seemed to be furniture that was picked up by circling through Wasaga Beach on garbage day. Get some furniture!!! Overall, very pathetic for this day and age.
