Great burger and tater tots. We ordered to go and spoke a lot with the owner while waiting. We will return for some of their weekly wine specials and food. The only recommendation I have is to order your burger as you would like— I wasn’t specifically asked how to cook it and would have actually liked it medium well, not well done. I would recommend this restaurant.

DC Grill Express has the friendliest staff you could ever hope to meet. A great place for a quick lunch stop. The food is delicious, is prepared quickly, and the fries are always fresh. The outdoor seating is highly recommended.

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. If you're looking for something that won't hurt your wallet but at the same time you're looking for quality food, I highly recommend DC Express! The owner is so customer service oriented and friendly too. Staying at the Washington Hilton and it's a 5 minute walk. Safe neighborhood and felt comfortable bringing my family for a walk in that area. My kids are picky eaters and they loved the food. Order the Fried Oreos for dessert!! Once again, a great place!

Just an awesome place to get a quick bite to eat, to meet new people of diverse nationalities, who were friendly and fun after several glasses from a great selection of wine and beer. We had the pleasure to meet the owner Aziz, who was so outgoing, and open that you felt like old friends. In other words, a great place that we would recommend and would be revisiting.

Fantastic concept! They have an extensive wine selection paired with a down-to-earth, creative burger menu. It’s hands down the best burger I’ve tasted in DC in the past 12 years. On Fridays, they offer half-priced sparkling wine bottles. The layout of the space is a bit unusual, but it’s definitely worth it for a glass of wine and an amazing burger!
