Bento Sushi - Washington

The sushi is decent for a grocery store, but I can't understand why a shelf in a grocery store has its own entry on Google Maps.

The sushi here is decent and reasonably priced. It's from the prepared sushi section of Safeway grocery store. Is it the best sushi you've ever had? Not really, but it's quite respectable and enjoyable. Plus, Safeway stays open late, offers seating, and has a wide variety of other items you can buy to complement your sushi. You can grab mochi by the piece and explore the entire produce section; we picked up strawberries, peaches, and a plum to go with our sushi, along with donuts for dessert! There's also a grab-and-go drink fridge. If you're in search of affordable sushi, this is definitely the spot for you.

This place is inside Safeway store on 4th street SW DC, just near the Waterfront metro station on Green line. Pretty much it's a carry out inside a store. Mostly pre-packaged rolls with some nigiri. Pricewise it's not expensive by sushi standards. The place is open until midnight which makes it one of late evening spots for office workers coming as far as NASA or Patriots Plaza office complex.

The display usually features a variety of options drizzled with spicy mayo. However, if you're not a fan of sushi topped with mayo, the choices are quite limited.
