The gentleman at the front was really cool and explained a lot of the menu to me. I definitely recommend to anyone, I have been coming here for a few years and happened to make another visit.
Curry Pie is a small Indian food outlet in Georgetown, Washington DC which serves mainly North Indian food. It is conveniently located. Seating options are limited owing to the small size of the restaurant. The food was generally good, especially the dal.
Small but cozy venue in a great location with incredible and unique food for a reasonable price. The fusion of pizza and asian cuisine served here can't be found anywhere else.Food: 5/5
We reached the place at 8.30pm, but were still refused service as it was very close to the closing time, which was not the case as the place closes at 10pm(as advertised on their door). If you cannot provide adequate service, don’t be in the service industry!I would strongly recommend Masala Street Eatery a block across.
I really wanted to be excited about this place. My firm placed a large order to feed about 80 people and paid this restaurant over $1,000 to make that happen. We were assured that the amount of food and delivery wouldn 't be a problem. The day of, the delivery was over a half hour late with no courtesy call ahead of time. Timing is crucial for these staff lunches as we need adequate time to set up. During repeated calls to the restaurant, I kept being told they were on their way even though we are a five minute drive from the restaurant in Georgetown. This was frustrating and embarrassing, as we had an AAPI history month guest speaker eating lunch with us that day after our staff meeting. In terms of the food, the pizza was bland but I will say that the curries were quite good. I would recommend this place for small orders, but not a catered event.
