Server never returned to the table after taking our order, someone else dropped the food off and server never bothered seeing if it was OK or needed anything. Didn't even bring the check, we just went to the counter and paid.
The Harriets Family Restaurant on the ground floor of the Hotel Harrington. was way over priced for the breakfast buffet. Powdered eggs, chewy bacon, the chipped beef gravy had a funny taste and the website shows 11.95 and was charged 15.95. Everything on the menu was $4 more then the website. Told the girl at the check out how bad the food is and the price difference and no offer of compensation. Just took my cc and ran the bill. Horrible food. The waitress never even
I had a large ham and cheese omelet that was generously filled with sliced ham. It came with two slices of toast and half a plate of home fries, which was quite a substantial meal. I couldn't finish it all! The food was delicious, and it felt worth the price. Although it's a small, unassuming spot, it's a great place to fuel up for the day.
This restaurant might be one of the most memorable places I've visited. The staff actually walk around barefoot—talk about a unique approach! However, we did encounter a rather surprising moment when a customer discovered a bone in their "boneless" chicken. My health teacher once mentioned that she only trusted the fries here, and after what I witnessed, I can understand why. My friends found hair in their cake and other dishes, which was quite off-putting. Moreover, several customers complained about ketchup that appeared to be from 2002! To top it all off, the cups had a strong smell of chlorine—because who doesn't enjoy a good swim, right? As for the meat, it looked so unappetizing that I lost my appetite.
Someone I knew bravely tried the brown meat, he couldn?t hold it down and then a sever with no shoes took his plate. The bathroom situation was below expectations, even though I had already read the reviews and came in expecting the worst. I think their were roaches. Not to forget the ketchup with a date of 20 years ago. I was actively celebrating when I heard we didn?t have to go back, thankful I would have the possibly of actually eating on my school field trip. Please
