Hazel's Back Porch Bbq - Washington

Hazel's Back Porch BBQ provided catering for our Employee Appreciation event in New Haven, and our staff couldn't have been more delighted. The aroma of smoke wafted through the outdoor space from their on-site smoker, and we indulged in delicious smoked chicken and pulled pork, accompanied by all the trimmings. It was a true taste of comfort food, made even better by the warm hospitality of Hazel and her team.

I had heard great things about your pork tacos, but unfortunately, they didn’t live up to the hype. While the meat was decent, the overwhelming bowl of goo surrounding it was more like wet, floppy nachos rather than actual tacos. My partner had the nachos, and it was essentially the same dish—just a huge pile of mess with meat underneath. We couldn't enjoy it and ended up tossing about three-quarters of our order. This was around 4:30 to 5:00 PM today. The food was fresh, but it looked like an unappetizing disaster in a takeout container. We probably won’t be back.

We absolutely adore the pork steaks; they are the best we've ever tasted, and the side dishes are delightful as well!

We had Hazel's cater lunch for our employees, and everyone loved the food! I highly recommend it!

I just had a pulled pork sandwich and pulled pork mac and cheese, both with a spicy sauce.
