Horace And Dickies - Washington

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child, but it is not the same as it used to be. The service was good, but the food was terrible. Everything lacked flavor - the hush puppies were hard, the yams were watery, the macaroni and cheese had no taste, the fish was bland, and even the hot sauce had no flavor. I only gave them a 1-star rating because I had to, not because they deserved it.

Currently take out only with limited hours but has some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had- fast service at a reasonable price point for the quality of the food

I went for the wing dinner plate that is not cheap which I've had before. This time they did not serve whole wings. Honestly, the wings were disgusting. The were refried and salty. The greens yuk! So dissapointing for a so-called black restaurant. Dobetter or close your doors!

The restaurant provides excellent service, with a friendly staff that is a favorite among the community. It is recommended to call ahead for your order as they tend to be busy. Please note that the sit-down dining area is currently closed.

The food at this restaurant is incredible! I always order the Seafood Dinner but I swap the whiting for catfish, and it never fails to impress. I can't think of a single item on the menu that I wouldn't enjoy.
