Let's face it: you're going to come here because you're at the lake and there are only a few places from which to choose.

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant! The nachos are fantastic:) Great view of the lake and the staff are always so friendly.

Great sandwiches! The Club is enough for 2. They make the best homade French Onion Soup within miles. It might take awhile to get seated, however once seated folks are very attentive. Nothing over the top for ambiance, but quaint and easy to talk to one another. The owner is a very nice lady that will ask your opinion on things. Our go to because it's open all year in a somewhat seasonal lake community.

Moosie's is such a staple at Smith Mountain Lake! The food and service are fantastic. Have a crowd to feed? Order the nachos! They'll satisfy! The onion rings are spot on. The sandwiches, delicious. The desserts are good too. If you're celebrating a birthday, be sure to let them know...you just might get a special birthday treat! Check out Moosie's, and try to get a table at a window over the lake. Such a great view!
