Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Washington

It was 4pm on a Thursday and I was excited to try the sweet and spicy wings. The drive thru only took cash… so lost a customer at that point, wasn’t going to an atm for some chicken dawg.

I live near this restaurant and I do not trust the recent 4 and 5-star reviews. I have visited four times in the past six weeks and have left without being able to make a purchase. They have only been accepting cash for a long time, and it seems to be sporadic. I have seen free food being handed out to people walking up to the drive-thru window. This restaurant needs to be looked into as something seems off.

If you prefer mashed potatoes without gravy, this is the perfect place for you. You can pay 25 cents per scoop with one employee or 35 cents with another employee. It costs 77 cents for a serving of gravy, which is assumed to be 1 tablespoon. I don't think they will be getting my business in the future.

Not open on time. I tried opening the door, but it was locked. I ordered my food online. I had to cancel. I drove up to the drive-thru window while management and employees stared. I sat there for over 10 minutes.

I am very disappointed with my meal today. It was simply awful. This location were one of my favorites. I would drive across town just to get fresh chicken. I'm not sure if this location is under new management but I have had 2 bad experiences lately. The chicken is dark and taste like the oil has not been changed. Nothing like the advertisements. The apple pie was dark I just could not eat it. I added pictures. Disgusting! Please evaluate your practices and do better soon. Very dissatisfied customer.
