Although the restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which is not necessarily typical of American cuisine, the food was a pleasant surprise. The quality of the dishes was exceptional, with sensational flavors that made me return to the restaurant several times. The kebab, in particular, stood out a delight that, despite not being able to spell the name exactly, won me over again. I was accompanied by two friends, and together, we had the chance to try a variety of dishes, sharing and trying a little of each one. The location of the restaurant is very convenient, located on one of the transversal avenues, which made our access easier. We were received with efficient and friendly service, and the waiting time for the dishes was adequate. The ambiance, food quality and service all made for a very good dining experience that was definitely worth it.
The chicken vindaloo was inedibly spicy, but the butter chicken was really good
Just took samosa chat and lamb flafel really tasty will definitely go there again.
Consistently good. I miss the pre covid days when they served food cafeteria style at the GA ave location bc it was hot and on demand..and the naan was included...def better for a college student budget as you got more for your . But the food isconsistently good at both the HU and the 14th street locations.
If you are looking for halal deshi food in Washington DC area, it?s ok to try their food but not what I was expected. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Butter chicken, chicken Tikka Masala and Naan. Biryani was okay but other two chicken items test like similar.I don?t think they know how to cook butter chicken chicken Tikka Masala. Food portions are not great either. There are otherhalal places in DC area better than them.
