The Chickery - Washington

Great first experience at Chickery. The gal at the counter was patient and helpful as we tried to figure out what we wanted. I ordered the Parmesan chicken feathers, which were really flavorful, especially the seasoned breading. The shoestring fries were cooked just right and the BBQ dipping sauce was a winner. Portions were large and prices were reasonable: 2 of us ate for $20. I'm actually looking forward to leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

We ordered ahead online using their app. The app is actually pretty functional and easy to use. The food took about 15 minutes. We ordered the 20 pc feast with fries and creamy coleslaw. We decided to take the food home to eat (about a 10 minute drive). The chicken and their selection of sauces was great; however, the fries were stale (maybe from the 10 minute drive) and the coleslaw was too creamy. Other than that, we'll likely return because they have good chicken and a good selection (chicken strips, rotisserie, sandwiches, pulled chicken).

Amazing food, and friendly service. The Chickery is our new favorite spot. The sides are really good and I even liked the Sweet Tea, which I normally don't go in for. Only downside is there isn't a lot of space to sit and enjoy.
