Should have ordered the normal Jo-sushi. Soy sauce was very salty. Best part of the meal was the miso soup. Waited over 90 minutes for my order when I was told 50 minutes! Will not be going back!
I?ve been ordering and going to this place for years. It is my favorite sushi in the city! M was our waitress for this particular occasion and she is the sweetest person ever! My favorite rolls are the Alaskan, Mexican and Bagel. And the gyoza is always delicious too. I got ramen for the first time and it was a nice hearty portion bursting with good flavors. I can?t recommend this place enough!
I was here on Saturday at 7:30 pm and service was a bit slow but friendly. I ordered the anago maki (saltwater eel and cucumber) but it didn't have any eel in it, just cucumber. It was good... but I ordered it for the eel. First time that's ever happened to me at a sushi place. After that I gave up on ordering eel and got the Mexican roll instead, which was good. I also had the nabeyaki udon, which was very good, but not so good that it can turn my 3-star review into a 4, sadly.
It's real Japanese food. Spoke Japanese to the 3 servers. They seemed to be family. Very friendly. We go every time we are in DC.
This is a lovely place to get high-quality sushi. We always get our sushi from here. It is always delicious and high quality.
