Town Tavern - Washington

I'm very happy to learn that the Giants/49ers bar is not just in my neighborhood, but also that the service is wonderful and the comedy night is terrific.

Had a lovely night outside with some apps and euro beers. We came on a Sunday night where they had canvasses, a muse and paints for everyone to use. Also, a great kava cocktail!

So we’re a couple of Ohio guys who just happened to walk in, first bar in DC, and man we’re we impressed. The service was amazing total Midwest hospitality. We ended up meeting the owner and she was so gracious. Place had a great crowd and the drinks were top notch. So glad we made this our first stop. For sure be back.

This place is a hard NO for me. Outside of the door person who's checking ID's all the other staff were RUDE... The drinks were bad and food was worse.

Would give 0 stars if i could. Bar is disgusting and the staff is trash and allow violence. I saw a girl throw a glass at someone tonight and they let the girl and her boyfriend stay!! I felt genuinely scared the rest of the time while watching the show we over paid
