Their samosa chaat was incredibly flavorful.Good service, too. The place is tiny though, so if you have very loud people around you, it might get a little overwhelming, other than I would definitely go back.
How did I not know this gem existed until last night? Fantastic food esp the paneer chilly. Dosas were great, super thin and crisp. Was not a huge fan of sambhar and chutney, but I’m picky, my group loved it. Can’t wait to visit again!
It was an absolute delight to dine at this charming and small restaurant. The menu offered a delightful array of mouthwatering vegetarian dishes that were bursting with flavor and made from fresh, quality ingredients. Paul, the owner, warmly welcomed guests and his passion for food was evident in every dish. The personalized service and attention to detail truly made the dining experience exceptional. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable and satisfying vegetarian culinary adventure in Washington DC. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable creations!
Place is small, sitting for approximately 25 people.Food is tasty, it's not watered down. Dosa, choole puri were great.
Feels like an authentic down home cafe with yummy food! So good to have a good south Indian restaurant in the city! Have had the vadas, masala dosa, and puri bhaji here and all have been tasty. It's hard to get vada to stay crispy and not dry out even as it cools but these vadas were fantastic. Food is perfectly spiced and not overly oily which is a common flaw at many Indian restaurants. The chef/owner Paul is also incredibly nice.Vegetarian options: All veg and many vegan friendly optionsKid-friendliness: Food is not too spicy and portions aren't overly huge so great spot for kids and families to eat at
