Rico's Lechon finally opened their 5th branch here in SM Mall of Asia. The place is spacious, but I think their Tiendesitas branch is bigger. Service is okay. I know that day, it was super busy, but still, we were accommodated, and our concerns/requests were attended to. Compared to other lechon, Rico's Lechon is on the salty side, and it was meaty. We were there on the soft opening and we got a chance to try their buffet. I can taste on the meat of the chicken that it has that touch of calamansi. I like their version of Monggo, it was sticky and the taste is rich. The ****** Mary Watermelon was sweet and refreshing. Their version of mami (Senior Pit Lechon Mami) was just okay. The dessert (pandan) was sweet, milky and creamy! I like it. Looking forward to see Rico's Lechon to open many more branches in Metro Manila. (I'll upload more photos soon).
Went here on their opening day so service quality was forgivable. Place is a lot bigger compared to their other branches in Manila. Has two entrances, one from the seaside and one from the South Wing. Outdoor seating is also available if you want Manila bay’s fresh air Finally tried Rico’s! Their Spicy Lechon was good, definitely try with their Garlic rice. Loved that they serve their rice on kalderos. Rice platter serves 4 pax.
Rico's lechon finally opened its door in its latest branch in mall of asia south wing of entertainment mall. Their lechon is indeed flavorful but the spicy one is more of my liking. A kilo cost 950 for the spicy variant and 900 for the original. The spicy one is not too spicy but you can feel the kick in every bite. This one also has a less saltier taste compared to the original. I was able to try their monggo which sounds ordinary but they cooked it well, it was flavorful too. Sweet and sour is one of my all time favorite dish thus no wonder their lechon fingers in sweet and sour sauce was a hit for me. Surprisingly their fried chicken is also good, crunchy and the coating was flavorful. I was able to enjoy their pandan in tapioca for dessert. I had two cups of this, it was that good! They cooked their tapioca well giving it a very nice texture that you keep wanting for more. Yummy!
The famous Rico's Lechon of Cebu continues to expand its operations here in Manila. The soft opening of Mall of Asia yesterday marks their 5th store already since opening just mid last year. The MOA branch, which provides an al fresco dining with a bay view and 200 seating capacity, also unveiled new items that they believe will strengthen the brands positioning as more than your Lechon Cebu destination. On top of a lengthy menu of familiar Filipino dishes, they added Sinigang Boneless Bangus, Sizzling Chicken Steak, classic Tortang Talong with Lechon, their own blend of crispy Fried Chicken and the Lechon fingers with sweet and sour sauce. On drinks, Rico's got you Mocha, Cookies and Cream, Fruity Strawberry, ****** Watermelon, and Pinoy fave, Sago at Gulaman. If you're coming in the afternoon, they got you covered as well. Now you can Lechon Mami, Lechon Arrozcaldo, Lechsilog (lechon, sinangag, at itlog), and Diniguan at Puto. Among the favorites from yesterday's feast was of course the tasty Lechon Cebu paired with their own vinegar mixture, Monggo and the newcomer, Chicken Steak with gravy. So what are you waiting for? You can find them or smell their Lechon Cebu all the way at the back of Mall of Asia, Seaside Boulevard at the ground floor.
