Yabu: House Of Katsu - Washington

My son who is 2.5 yrs old only eats spaghetti or rice with miso soup, so last week, when we were in Robinson's Magnolia, after having Conti's spaghetti bolognese for brunch, I decided to give him his rice and miso soup. Yabu was the 1st japanese resto I saw when we went down to the food court. I asked the receptionist if they have miso soup and she said that rice and miso soup are unlimited. So she gave us a seat and menu and I ordered the deluxe seafood with the white fish, not the pork. Then some manager came and explained how the sauces work because I told them it was my 1st time in Yabu. Then the waiter gave us rice and miso soup first (upon my request) while waiting for my order so my son can start eating. When my food came, they still gave me my own rice and soup. The fish (Salmon and white fish) were cooked to perfection. And the cabbage dressing was to die for. Then my son ate up my fruit but they gave us more than enough for refill. Overall, I was so happy with the service and the attentiveness of the staff. I didn't even have to call out, i just lifted my head and somebody came to ask if I needed anything. I left a 200peso tip which felt so bad because I wanted to leave a 500peso tip but I was running out of cash. That's how happy they made me and my son. I am in Kota Kinabalu now (Shangri-La Rasa Ria) with my husband before going back home to Stockholm, and I still can't stop telling him how excellent the food and service were in Yabu Robinson's Magnolia. I can't wait to go home again and dine at your resto. Kudos to you all!!!

Katsu sets are super worth it. Aside from the excellently cooked meat, their unli-rice, unlli-fruit, unli-miso soup and unli-cabbage salad will cap the meal off. Compared to other restaurants where you have to purchase these items separately, Yabu offers them willingly for a fair price. Service was great, the servers did not hesitate to remind you of their unli side dishes. Food was served fast.

High quality meat and ingredients. The staff are also attentive and friendly. Generally, worth your money's worth!

Yabu Megamall I enjoyed eating Japanese food and so far Yabu gives the quality of taste and services I'm looking for a restaurant! They are friendly towards the customer and on time. Keep it up! I will highly recommend this to my friends and other foodies out there!

My 2 grown up children and I enjoy dining in Yabu, Megamall, A friend of mine wanted to treat me for lunch and so I brought her here. Just like us, she appreciated the food (taste, presentation) and service. Service with a Smile and attentive to our needs like another bowl of soup, fruits and salad .
