THE BIG: Located in Union Market, Bidwell actually owns substantial space inside and outsideThe outdoor bar serves cheaper beer than inside (~$5).

I randomly found this place while visiting union market for the first timeI had the moonshine pizza on charcoal bread.

Food: We had the charcoal margarita pizza and it was good, but not amazingThe charcoal crust definitely had a good smokey flavor to it.

We ate here with our kids and had a nice meal. Children had a buffet for them that worked out great and. Ore high-end restaurants should obey this call. $ 15 apiece, but lots of options kids love, plus desserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a little over the top and tasteless. My wife had the fillet that was served over a zucchini and pumpkin tomato vegetable which really didn't go very well with it. Read reviews and told page of Russell sprouts got roasted but they arrived steamed and tasteless again. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. We ate at the Pacific Grille the night before and the food was much tastier.

Ramon's is a great waiter with 42 years of experience on the La Costa property!
