Casolare - Washington, D.C.

I'm sad, sad, sad Went to Casolare last night for the zouppa de pesce (and even went on line to make sure it was still on the menu) NO, NO, NO.

This place is so far out of the way I don't remember how I got there or why I wentIt's on the ground floor of the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel.

Wonderful dinner! Now I think we have been to all the local Michael Schlow restaurants.

This place a hole in the wall with good vegetarian. The ambiance isn't great, but the food is good and the people running the place are very warm. The best item on the menu are their sandwiches.

We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service.
