Sospeso - Washington, D.C.

The restaurant is a lovely and peaceful spot. I enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Although I'm not very familiar with Turkish cuisine, I found that my octopus was overcooked and the bread had burnt marks on it.

The drinks were excellent and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the burrata (although the octopus was also good, I always feel guilty eating such intelligent creatures). Shoutout to the bartenders for dealing with the guy I was on a terrible first date with lolllll. They even managed to keep a straight face when he asked for a quesadilla. I will definitely be back on my own next time. 10/10 experience.

Not to familiar with the Area, but went after Van gough Experience. This was one of those hidden gems! Wonderful staff and chef brought food out himself! High quality food and service! If you?re looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience, go here! Loved it!

Terrific service 4/5 food so far. Great self ordering system. I wish I discovered this place earlier because I am totally in love with Turkish shakshuka! Breakfast is served til 3 pm Friday through Sunday. Area has scarce parking so if you?re driving plan another 10-20 min just to find parking.

I had my first meal at Sospeso this afternoon. The atmosphere and decor were lovely. The service was outstanding, with our server going out of their way to cater to our group. Every appetizer and main course was incredibly tasty... from the crispy potatoes and cauliflower to the ground lamb, porchetta, delicious linguine, olive cake, and baklava, everything was cooked to perfection and served in just the right portions. We enjoyed every aspect of Sospeso... Thank you for a memorable dining experience!
