The food was pretty good, the burger was moist and juicy without being underdone or overdone, the service was not good to say the least, took forever waiting for a hostess to seat us, near to the point of me leaving, and I was only visited the bare minimum number of times (Orders, check) and was barely given refills. It's a cute little bar but there are better options to say the least.

A big fan of the Alice stories I was excited to see this place near my hotel. Unfortunately they serve short staffed, but those I saw did their beat. Ordered Garlic Dipping Bread. This came soggy and bland. The Short Rib Mac and Cheesr is really good. A solid piece of Short Rib. Perfectly cooked pasta and creamy cheese. The pieces of jalapeño add a flair of spice. Great place to grab a night cap on a Sunday evening. It was not crowded at all, so we got excellent service. The space has an interesting ambiance that is worth checking out and a good variety on the drink and food side of things. If I still lived in DC this is a place I would come back to for lunch or dinner to try more of the menu.

Y'all know I'm a foodie and it's like I've struck gold being in Washington DC! Haven't had a bad experience yet. I ordered from the starter menu and it was enough. The food is so good here (my husband loved his sizzling food). You won't be disappointed!
