Yardbird Table Washington D.c.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I absolutely loved everything about it! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and professionally. I appreciated that they requested proof of COVID vaccination, as I believe this should be standard practice at all restaurants. Our server was fantastic, and the food, drinks, and dessert were all delicious! The restaurant has a high-end feel, with beautiful decor, a great ambiance, and comfortable seating. Even the restrooms were clean and well-maintained! I highly recommend this place for fine dining and special occasions!

The atmosphere and ambiance here are delightful. The customer service is outstanding from start to finish. The host at the entrance is fantastic. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which is quite a generous portion, so I would suggest sharing it. The chicken was perfectly fried and well-seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was a bit runny; it could have used an extra 10 minutes in the oven, but it was also well-seasoned and flavorful. The deviled eggs are a must-try!

This was our first visit and we were greeted with a warm and pleasant smile. I already knew this was the place to be. We had reservations and was seated promptly. The atmosphere was comfy, vibrant and well decorated. Our server Ariana was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful and delicious not to mention how well garnished it was. We ordered the chicken and waffles which is enough for two, brussel sprouts and the sweet tea braised beef served with mashed potatoes. Oh not to mention the honey biscuits with choice of butter or jam. Hmmm so good with the jam just a different touch. We would highly recommend Yardbird and cannot wait to return.

This was my first time at Yardbird. I went for a birthday brunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious and the cinnamon roll was the best. It was huge and took me two days to eat. The shrimp and grits was flavorful and with each bite I wanted more. I also had the fried green tomatoes with the pork belly. Very good, but I wish it could have been offered as just an appetizer and not the fried green tomato BLT. I just wanted the tomatoes but because the cost was the same anyway, instead of a sandwich I just had them adjust it for me and give me the tomatoes and the pork bellies on top. Again, still delicious. The chicken and waffles with the spices watermelon a definite recommendation. Our server (waiter)not sure which term is correct but his name was Xavier and he was the absolute best. Will definitely ask for him when I go back. I highly recommend Yardbird DC for a wonderful dining experience.

I came for lunch and despite not having a reservation, they were able to sit me with no problem. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was delicious. An upscale take on this traditional sandwich but it was delicious. Had the right amount of kick, but the chicken was both crispy and juicy. Decided to splurge and get the bourbon chocolate cake for dessert, not knowing how large it would be. Overall very good all around experience.
