Feedback gevenI visited this restaurant during a very busy time. There were many customers, but the sandwich artist, who I believe was named Luke, stood out. He greeted me warmly and worked efficiently despite the hectic environment. As someone who runs a small business, I appreciate how challenging it can be to keep things running smoothly during a rush. I must give a shout out to Luke for his cool demeanor and expertly crafted sandwiches.
While waiting in line at the subway for 20 minutes, my two sisters and I received three coupons from a generous customer who had received a voucher before us. One of the coupons allowed us to purchase 3-foot-long sandwiches for $17.99 each. When we got to the counter, the man (of Indian descent) was polite and apologized for the wait. I reassured him that it was no problem, as we could see it was busy. I noticed that he seemed relieved and asked my sisters to place their orders to make it easier as the line grew longer. We ordered a total of 5 sandwiches and I handed my sister one credit card for the 3-foot-long sandwich at the discounted price. However, when she presented the coupon, the man's demeanor changed drastically. He informed us that the voucher could only be used for a group purchase and not for individual items. Confused, I explained that my sisters would pay separately and we were only using one coupon per transaction. He became agitated and insisted that we couldn't use the coupon at all. Frustrated, I decided to forgo my sandwich and urged my sisters to purchase theirs while I left. As they were in the process of paying, the man made a derogatory comment, causing my sisters to leave without completing their purchases. I went back to the subway and took a picture of the location to report the discriminatory incident to the franchise headquarters. As I was taking the photo, the man and a woman from the restaurant were smoking on the side. The woman asked how she could assist me, and I explained that I was filing a complaint regarding the customer service provided by the man. She revealed that she was the owner, while he claimed to be the manager. I expressed my desire to share my experience with the owner, but she abruptly told me that I could take my business elsewhere. The manager then took a forceful tone and insisted that I leave. When I questioned their treatment, he aggressively told me to go elsewhere. I raised my voice in response, causing my sister to take a photo as he approached me while yelling that we were not welcome. The owner declared that they didn't require my business and I left the premises.
The restaurant was clean, the server was polite and efficient, and the wait was not long.
I've been going to this Subway for years, and I've never had a bad experience. The employees here are always so nice, and do a fantastic job with the sandwiches. If anyone is ever hungry, I recommend coming here!
The white guy I think his name is Chris was very kind had a great attitude and I most definitely plan on coming back to this subway branch. Would most definitely recommend it.
