Abby's Home Cooking - Wasilla

The food was excellent—delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. However, the service was a bit inconsistent. My plate was roughly pushed across the table. The restaurant was busy, which is a testament to how good the food is, but they really need to hire more staff to handle the crowd, or they risk losing customers. Overall, the food is fantastic!

Fantastic family-friendly spot! We visited with friends and had an amazing time. The food was incredibly comforting, with a wonderful variety to choose from. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff made us feel like part of a big family.

Who knew? GREAT FOOD! I hate to write a review because it's a small place and I don't want to share. This place is fantastic. True home town of Diner Art of Square. Eating is better than I can do at home and much better than restaurant grade tariff. You can say that they really care what they serve. The staff was fast and very attentive, although the place was full. Small menu very well made. No complaints. I'm often back.

Very Good. Great home cooked food and the bread is baked fresh daily. LOVE their sandwiches and the owner was so sweet to my kids--gave them all hot chocolate one snowy day!

This my first review, and Abby's is well worth it! Some of the best food I've had since I've lived in the Mat-Su area. I got the Brisket Dip Sandwich, and it was amazing! The Au Jus was the BEST I've had from a restaurant and/or cafe. Tasted just like what you would make at home from the drippings of your brisket or prime rib. The service was outstanding, very clean facility and very cool theme, and everyone made you feel right at home. We even ordered a slice of homemade pie to take with us to go, I just couldn't pass up bananna cream pie. Lastly, I can't forget about their sweet tea! It was very good, and REAL sweet tea, not tea with sweetener. I will be back! Maybe even tomorrow for breakfast.
