Ferme-Auberge Buchwald - Wasserbourg

We were looking for a farm that makes and sells Munster cheese and, after rambling this way and that due to poor directions, came upon this establishment. What a lovely situation on the slopes overlooking the plains of Alsace, cows grazing, bells tinkling and ... oh, yes, they also have pretty darn good food. A very nice, leaning towards the hearty, array of dishes, reasonably quickly prepared oh, and the place was almost full. It's a bit of a drive to get here so these people were either lost like us or knew exactly where they were headed and expended considerable energy getting here. Service was most congenial and attentive despite the crowd. All in all, a wonderful experience and, if I lived in that corner of France, would definitely search this place out on a regular basis. Not fine dining but certainly extremely satisfying and very reasonably priced.

C is a pure wonder you have to book but it is amazing how it is very good copious a very affordable extraordinary service and you have to take the menu marcaire I have no word to describe you the pleasure of eating with family and if you still want it there is and without supplement, again thank you and bravo for the success of the restaurant

Always with our Alsatian friends for a few years now we go to this inn farm, whose welcome is pleasant and friendly no chichi here, for my part it is the beef that I take ( one of their speciality and suggestion) the meat is tender and tasteful with proportions well enough for me, more the prices practice are really in view of the very competitive portions, always a pleasant evening, it is now a forced passage,

Very good farm inn. the flawless marcary meal. a beautiful terrace with stunning views. really very nice staff. The plates of charcuterie that were served next to us looked super good. I'll go back there to taste... the sieskas too good and the honeyberry pie excellent home.
