Burger Philly Shack - Watauga

My wife and I came in last week, the place was full of flies we could not even enjoy our food. The large burger I ordered was wrong and so was my wife's which was said to include an onion ring and bbq sauce and did not have either. The back door was open for a good 15 minutes which allowed more flies to come in. There was also no AC making it very uncomfortable. I had come here a couple months ago and it was wonderful. This time I paid for something I didn't get. My wife just wanted to leave because of the frustration over the wrong order and the flies and hot uncomfortable temperature.

I have never stopped in here before, as it always looked a lil grungy and I had heard it had alot of unsavory people around. Well I recently discovered they were under new ownership so I decided to stop in to check them out. The dirt seemed to be wiped away from the front so I ventured inside. I went riiight when it was slow time for restaurants so it wasn't too crowded. While I was there one of the owners came by and we had a great conversation about how they got the business and changes they've been making and also some future changes in the works. Seem like very nice people up here, like they're all a close work family. Can't wait to go again and try something else!

Usually have a great experience here but today really put me off. Order the black and blue burger, there was no blue cheese crumbles and barely any bacon. Paid for chili cheese fries, received regular fries. Paid for 3 extra ranches. Didn't receive those. My order total was close to $50 on a take out order. For that much money, I'd appreciate my order being correct and a little more care being taken. I enjoy the food here, but this gives me pause about spending my money here again.

We actually just left there. We ordered our food at 2:58 and was told that it will be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes we asked about our food. The people who ordered in front of us already got their food, ate it and leftWe were told 5 more minutes. We wait and the people who ordered after us recieved their food so we asked again. They brought out food out , and the lady (was smoking out side when we left) said loud enough that it’s not fast food. My daughter burger was so over cooked and dry she didn’t eat it. My burger was cooked well done and it didn’t seem to have any juice left. We will not be back. I can get a better burger some place else and get it in a timely manner

Weekly, Full Philly all the way EXTRA WIZ. Love it. Yes i said weekly. Up date. Now Im big into the Philly fries fully loaded with extra wiz.
