Duck Walk Vineyards - WATER MILL

I went with my friends to celebrate our friend's birthday. We arrived after 3 PM on a Monday, so the restaurant was quite empty. However, Gina was very helpful in recommending wines that suited our individual tastes. We even managed to bring in some cheese and veggies. Despite the rain, we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it, although visiting during the week might be better than on the weekends.

I visited this restaurant for a day outing with seven family friends. We arrived at 10:30 a.m. on the coldest day of the year, but the staff kindly allowed us to use the restrooms while we waited inside. The wine tastings were fantastic and offered generous portions. The staff also let us sit at a table to enjoy our food indoors. Overall, it’s a wonderful place, and I definitely plan to return.

This is my favorite vineyard! It’s very spacious and clean, with excellent service. I absolutely love their wine and always pick up several bottles during my visits to the wine tours. The atmosphere is always pleasant, but I do wish they offered food trucks. My new favorite is the boysenberry, although it's unfortunate that it’s not a regular item anymore due to the cost of boysenberry juice. The Athena and the Ice Box used to be my go-to choices.

I really enjoyed the ambiance at Duckwalk, but I was let down by the wines. My friends and I visited on Thursday and absolutely loved the woman in the tasting room; she was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are fantastic. Unfortunately, we sampled four flights of different wines and only managed to finish one or two of them. We typically prefer semi-sweet, dry, or full-bodied wines, but we found that most of the selections were overly sweet and not to our taste. The pricing is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful, but I wish there were more dry wine options available.

I’ve always had great experiences with Duckwalk wines, but this was my first visit to the vineyard itself. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the grounds were stunning and well-maintained. It wasn’t busy, and they had a live singer performing, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere outdoors. I also loved the two Van Gogh replicas displayed on the wall inside! The 2019 Dessert Wine was absolutely delicious, and my husband is a huge fan of frozen Rosé!
