La Tavola - Waterbury

It’s hard to believe this place is in Waterbury. I Live in Waterbury 10 years and I never been in this place. Wow wow hands down, it’s amazing place. We went for Valentines lunch and the staff were very attetive. We made a reservation 13th and due snow storm we had to book for next day, amazing and very understanding staff they accommodate us for next day even they were full booked. Appetizer wow shrimp toast , Jesus my mouth is drooling right now. Wine taste great, I like the way you can taste first and then decide if you like or not. Entree were great , chicken parmigiana and spaghetti with balls were amazing delicious. You can smell and see the fresh quality ,of the ingredients. Love it! We end with dessert banana cheese cake and was a bomb. I can’t wait for come back, price where very reasonable for what you eat and worth. It’s my new favorite place.

First time there staff is incredibly Friendly drinks were good will update when i eat there. Update 2022 to 2024 food is amazing but service is atrocious i get invited to eat there by friends very often staff is either stand offish or completely ignore you only time service was great was when i ate at the bar for lunch older bartender short blonde hair (female) was amazing

The best of the best. My husband and i travel SO much and try SO many restaurants and i have to say that this is one of our favorite Italian restaurant. Top notch food. So authentic and delicious. ? very hospitable staff. They have such good knowledge of their menu. They are friendly and welcoming. Great ambience. They have pictures and paintings hung all over the wall that are beautiful to look at (they are for sale btw). They have a winery.Definitely worth a try!

Limited menu. Everybody was happy with what they had though.No parking.Service was excellent.

I really enjoyed my first visit to La Tovala. Parking on the street was a little tough even at lunch on Saturday. There is a really cool vibe with the bar, artwork, glass floor displaying the wine cellar, etc. Food was exceptional. I enjoyed chicken fra diablo with mash potatoes and broccoli rabe. I definitely will go again to try other dishes.
