Louie's Pizza House - Waterbury

The crust is perfectly thin yet crispy and remarkably not greasy at all! The sauce has a nice herby flavor—I'm more accustomed to sweeter sauces, but I really enjoyed this one. I ordered a Greek pizza but substituted feta for ricotta and added chicken. Now, here I am in my hotel room, devouring this delicious pizza, and I couldn't be happier!

Delicious pizza! The shop has a friendly and vibrant atmosphere as well. I'm in town for the week and working close by, so I hope to return a couple more times before I leave. The salads and desserts also looked appealing!

They do not pay attention to the specific instructions I provided, and I had the same issue the last time I ordered from here.

The pizza tasted fine, but I have a few complaints. When customers order cakes, they leave them on the rack without mentioning that they might be overdoing it. The staff takes too long to prepare food, and they don’t wear gloves while handling the pizza, using their bare hands instead. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of hygiene since they don’t wear hair nets, which can result in hair ending up in the pizza. It’s really off-putting, so be cautious if you decide to eat there.

I've loved this place since childhood. Some of my fondest memories are of my dad taking me there for two slices of pizza and a 7-Up.
