Jack Meades And - Waterford

Jack Meade’s is in Waterford near Faithlegg. It’s a sizeable establishment and Crowley service. Food was enjoyable. Good place to visit and easy parking.

Fantastic family location to spend an afternoon. It offers lovely homely food, with big portions at a reasonable price, friendly staff and a wonderful safe playground for children on the grounds with outdoor seating for the adults.

The best thing about the place was the water. We got a chicken salad and the ribs. Both were bland and just awful. Weird smell in the place as well.

I first ate at Jack Meade's some 10 years ago and had some of the best Spare Ribs ever. Although I live not too far from the restaurant, for whatever reason my next visit was 10 years later. I'm happy to say that their Spare Ribs are still excellent I had a half portion of them together with a half portion of Lasagna, which was also very good. The service was quick and friendly. The three others in my group all enjoyed their meals. All in all I enjoyed the meal very much and am surprised by all the recent negative reviews. It won't be 10 years before my next visit.

Interesting pub with a long history. Our group of 40 were seated in a quaint, private room upstairs. The lone bartender took our drinks orders and never made a mistake. Food is not great but okay. Chris provided excellent entertainment with his Irish folk songs and guitar.
