One of my favorite places! Jeff. Vogts food is a cut above always well prepared and plentiful. Your barbecue is some of the best in the metropolis region of St. Louis! Friendly place and excellent food!

This is what a bar restaurant should be. Some of the best food in the area and all the drinks to go with it. The building it is in has a tremendous history dating back to before the Prohibition as well.

The downtown area was bustling, but we had a relatively brief wait for a table and were able to enjoy a cocktail while we did so. We started our meal with Cheddar cheese balls, which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich served on a fluffy bun with sweet potatoes, while my husband had the Mackie Burger with fries. Both dishes were outstanding. Our server was on her first night, and she performed admirably, frequently checking in to make sure we had drinks and anything else we needed.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken bacon wrap, and both were delicious. The timing of my visit was perfect, as I arrived early before the crowd. The staff had great attitudes, especially the bartender, Avery, who was exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this place!
