Jassie's Grill - Waterloo

Was in town for a siblings trip and this is where we had breakfast before we all left town. Our server was in a great mood and very friendly. Food was good and didn’t take long even for a group of 8. Corn beef hash was delicious. Coffee cup never got empty.

I just went to Jassie's Cafe for the first time last week for breakfast and I loved it so much that I had to come back again this week for lunch! My new favorite place to eat!! Jassie's Cafe has absolutely delicious food with fantastic service!! So forever, I've tried the western omelette, hash browns, and toast for breakfast and a chicken philly with mashed potatoes gravy and green beans with bacon for lunch. Very prompt, friendly service, amazing food with good sized portions, and reasonable prices! I will definitely be back again!!

The higher cost of day to day living, groceries, gas, and so forth has sadly made dining out a special occasion instead of a habit. I hadn 't visited Jassies for quite some time, and I forgot how much I enjoyed their breakfast and really reasonable prices. My fav is Ham Eggs Hashbrowns and Toast. So many places have started serving what I would call fake ham, you know, the cheap stuff that is pressed into an oval loaf shape. The ham at Jassies was a very nice, thick piece of the real deal. The hashbrowns were excellent and not over seasoned, I can add my own salt, etcetera. The eggs were also prepared just as ordered. The atmosphere is like any small town style cafe. The staff was nice. They were attentive and kept my coffee full. It was very clean and comfortable. I suspect that there are lots of regular customers since they greeted many by name. I could certainly become a regular there. I do want to try the hot beef. It looked and smelled delicious, being delivered to a nearby table.

Stopped in today and had their special,,,Fish Dinner, (Cod) ,came with mashed potatoes and gravy,, green beans that were loaded with bacon (yum) and texas toast! All for $10.00. Great atmosphere and employees! Hannah says stop down and give them a try! I've always had their breakfast cause the hashbrowns are excellent but glad I tried the Fish!

This is a great small restaurant business and it's affordable plus has great cooks and staff. Friendly family atmosphere! Love this place and highly recommend!
