Shawerma Plus (shawarma Plus)

Hello,I just had the most incredible shawarma experience at Shawerma Plus! The flavors were absolutely delightful, and the shawarma was cooked to perfection. The tenderness of the meat combined with the savory spices created a mouthwatering taste that left me craving for more.The service was excellent, and the friendly staff made the whole dining experience even better. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyment of my meal.I can confidently say that Shawerma Plus serves the best shawarma in town! Food was ok, flavorless. Don’t know why this place has so much good rating. May be no-one visiting recently.On Sunday evening, we are the only one here.Won’t be coming again.

Ive been to the Waterloo and Mississauga location on Eglinton and 9th line and this is by far one of the best shawarmas I have had! My go-to is the chicken shawarma classic style and its always great! Love their garlic sauce! Friendly staff and delicious food!

I’ve been going to shawarma plus since I moved to Waterloo back May 2020. I’ve been here every week since then (sometimes even two or three times) and I’ve never not enjoyed it. It’s honestly one of the things I look most forward to at the end of the work week. I’ve ordered the same thing (regular chicken on rice plus a 1/2 pound of extra chicken in the side) because I bring it home and throw it all into a bowl and BOOM, amazing. It’s the only shawarma place I know that does both through and breast meat and you can really taste the quality. I’ve been to other shawarma places in the region and nothing has matched shawarma plus. Even people around the office know what I’m having for dinner in a Friday. 10/10 is what I give their shawarma, just amazing. I’ve tried their wraps and beef on rice too and they’re great too but to me, regular chicken on rice plus 1/2 pound of extra chicken on the side is where it’s at.

Customer service could use some improvement, as it was a bit challenging to communicate with the cashier/server in English. The restaurant has a set selection of sauces and styles, so you don’t get to choose your toppings directly. It's worth asking if they can mix things up for you, as some toppings are included in the sauces and styles. I really enjoyed the falafel combo and would definitely recommend it to others. However, I likely won’t return because the failure to change gloves when preparing vegetarian orders is a significant concern for me. While the falafel was great, the fries were mediocre, reminiscent of frozen fries just heated up in oil. Additionally, I noticed that the prices displayed on their TV screens are outdated, so if you see a discrepancy on your bill, that’s to be expected. As for vegetarian options, there is only the falafel available. There’s no dedicated kid-friendly menu either. Parking is available for free in the complex where the restaurant is located, but with many other stores around, finding a spot can be difficult. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, as the main entrance and restrooms are not designed for individuals using wheelchairs.
