Uncle's Shawarma & Kabab - Waterloo

My friend, who lives just around the corner from this little gem, recommended we get take out food to eat on her patio. I am so happy that we did. The food is fantastic. I had the chicken legs with a sauce that is out of this world delicious. My friend had the chicken salad meal. I tasted a small bit of it and it too was fantastic.I will definitely return for more. The portions are HUGE.

Uncle's Shawarma & Kabob looks like just another storefront take-out restaurant, but the food is out of this world! Freshly made and served by a husband and wife team who are, honestly, the kindest folks ever, the menu is expansive and every dish delicious. The portions are generous and the prices moderate. This is a family owned and operated establishment and has a welcome feel. Expect to be greeted warmly by the owners and to chat with them while you wait for your meal. Visit more than once and they will learn your names, remember your favourite dishes, and greet you as old and dear friends!. Seriously, Uncle's Shawarma is the best!

Very good Falafel! Adult and kid approved! The veggie samosas were good, too. Don't let the opposite-of-fancy exterior deter you.

Nice people and nice place for take out.. try there chicken and rice. . Sometimes the shaworma are too greasy.. also they have homemade bride.

I ordered a falafel plate with rice. The falafels were excellent! Spicy rice with lentils over top amazing! Eggplant dish delicious! My simple dinner of shawarma take away was more the quality of a sit down restaurant. Very pleased! Will definitely go back soon!
