Road House Grill - Watersmeet

Lydia was the best. Exactly the way a dive bartender should be. All the gold stars. Food from the restaurant was awesome and we had a blast talking with wild bill. He must be a regular. Gave us all the tips and tricks about where to stop for food and things we forgot. We stopped at two other restaurants on the way to Lake Superior and they were closed. Third times a charm. When my family and I walked in someone laughed at us, then the barkeep gave us nice directions. Road house tavern does not have food, and the people in the bar were very rude, not to the fault of the owners/workers. Do not go to the tavern if you want food, and the grill looked like it was closed, which is different of what this website says.

Great food and the staff and people in general go iut of their way to make you feel comfortable!!!

FIRST VISIT (from out of state) Extremely friendly waitress My wife, our friend and I each had sandwich style food. We each really liked our food We would not hesitate to eat here again !

We stopped on our way home from Bond Falls looking for a place for lunch and a beer. Roadhouse is a classic roadside cafe. Our waitress was cute, young, attentive and friendly. I was happy to find out that the cafe does serve beer but disappointed to also find out that the choices were mostly lite (not really beer) selections. But they did have Pabst in cans, ice cold, which was exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I each ordered burgers, my wife with soup and me with fries. The burgers were generous, cooked to perfection and very reasonable in price. If we ever are in the neighborhood again and looking for a quick meal we will be sure and stop at Roadside.
