Pizza-roma - Watertown Town

Dough over fermented in my opion. All I could taste was sourdough. Unless they use some type of starter in the dough. Maybe I’ll try again in the future

Since Joe sold the business, there have been two different owners. The first owners must 've gotten the recipes from Joe because the pizza quality was very close to Joe 's, which was second to none. Had a couple of sicilian slices from there today. Sicilian slices are supposed to be thicker than a regular slice of pizza. These were the same thickness as a regular slice but just cut into squares. The taste was very bland but the worst part was, two slices cost $10.50. When Joe ran the place, the sicilian pizza was the best around and they were 3 bucks a slice. I don 't mind paying a little more but 2 and a quarter more a slice for subpar pizza is enough to keep me out of there for good. Please buy back the business Joe. WE NEED YOU!!!

Update: Pizza-Roma has changed hands twice since my first review as Joe, the original owner, retired. I tried the second owner's pizza and wasn't impressed, but I have yet to try the third. Just be warned that this is not the same place it used to be!Pizza from an old Italian guy. Doesn't get any better than that!

The new management have modernized the experience from the long time previous owner. I saw two styles of slices available for reheat and a long list of other entrées.I tried out their Italian sub and was pleasantly surprised at the freshness of all the ingredients. Yes, they bake their own sub rolls and slice the cold cuts to order right in front of you. They also warmed up the roll to put a little crunch into the top.I'm full and satisfied with my first trial item. It won't be my last. I would recommend others try this long term Italian restaurant with the new and progressive owners. Mangia bene!

Disregard the negative reviews from several months ago cuz it seems like new people run the place and it’s fantastic. Ordered two small pizzas online (one salami one prosciutto), pickup was friendly, and the pizzas were delicious. Nice and crispy thin crust with quality, fresh tasting sauce and toppings. Not too small for a small either. Give ‘em a try
