Did you ever pay your servers? or are they still trying to cash out checks that are bouncing? what about their tips? ?

Summertime luncheon found us enjoying a diverse menu with classical Italian dishes. Prices were reasonable and the restaurant looked classy for such a small, blue collar town. They were out of several dishes but no shortage of options including small plates and a Luncheon menu. My lasagna was fine huge portion $18 and my vegan wife enjoyed a pear walnut salad but w canned pears? $12 Service was efficient and courteous. If you 're on your way up state check it out... just 2 miles off Rt 8

Huge servings always have leftovers to take home.Outside dining area 2 levels additional room for dining or reserve and occasional live band with dance floor Saturday Sunday local talent in the bar. Bartenders not consistent and most with no skill for mixing the same drink the same. Deep Eddy is the go to booze nasty. White Russian should always be shaken and easy with the Kailua. The meals the prices the atmosphere 4 stars.

Five stars in all categories. Service is lovely. It's quaint and quiet for a family or romantic dinner. Ambiance is casual and intimate. The Penne a la vodka is my favorite dish and they do it to perfection. I like the battery operated candle they leave on the tables. Another thing I approve of is the ratio of the height of the seating in the booths to the height of the table. In some restaurants, I feel like a child at the ground ups table, not here. Then at the bar it's jovial and friendly. On weekends they have various two piece bands with a singer. My favorite band is Sapphire. The male singer sounds exactly like Frank Sinatra, it's crazy. Go! You'll love it.
