The chicken quesadilla was tasty. However, the service was slow to non-existent and the tables were sticky. It is clear that this place is lacking a manager as the staff seemed untrained. It was a disappointing situation and I do not plan to return. Overall rating: Food 3/5, Service 1/5, Atmosphere 1/5. Service style: Dine-in, Meal type: Dinner, Price range per person: $10-20.

This restaurant is a pleasant spot with a decent selection of food, although the menu is not extensive. We tried the salmon and soft pretzel bites, and both were delicious. The atmosphere was a bit dull, but we were there early. My kids enjoyed it and have been asking to go back, so that's a good sign in my opinion. The service was satisfactory. I would give the food a rating of 4 out of 5.

I absolutely adored everything about Rustic Inn, from the cozy fireplaces to the charming room keys. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, who took over the Snowy Owl in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. They are constantly making improvements and renovations to the hotel, and it really shows. The executive suite offers stunning views and plenty of space. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home. A special shoutout to Bartender Kyle for crafting delicious cocktails, especially the must-try Snowy Owltini.

The staff at this restaurant is consistently friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I had read some reviews mentioning hockey tournaments, and unfortunately experienced one during my visit. The hockey parents let their children run around unsupervised while they socialized with other adults, leaving the staff to wrangle the unruly kids. I felt sorry for the staff having to deal with this. Despite this, our visits have typically been enjoyable.

Surly staff offer an unappetizing dining experience. We were with a group of 16 people trying to have dinner after a hockey game. When we walked in, 14 people were already seated, and the very rude server told us that we were not welcome to join the rest of our group. The people who walked in less than 1 minute before us were seated, but she was refusing us a place. And she was extremely rude in doing so. Only when the group threatened to have everyone leave did the manager relent and let us sit. Not once did he offer an apology for her behavior. Instead, he made excuses, stating that other groups earlier had given her a hard time. But that's not something for which we were responsible and certainly not an excuse for outright rude behavior. I am terribly disappointed in the restaurant, and we will be sharing our experience with all our fellow hockey parents via facebook and via word of mouth. Our recommendation will be that anyone who stays at the Snowy Owl Inn eat elsewhere to avoid the unpleasant staff at the restaurant. And after all that drama, the food was pedestrian at best. My son got chicken fingers, and I can honestly say you're far better off at KFC. Better quality, 1/3 the cost.
