Sonny's Diner - Waterville

I stopped by after seeing the sign for donuts. I don't know of any other local breakfast spots that offer fresh donuts, and these did not disappoint! They had a variety of flavors, and even though I arrived late in the morning, I plan to return to snag some fresh ones right out of the fryer. Unfortunately, there was no chocolate left when I left, but I hope to see some with coconut flakes next time. I also took the opportunity to explore more of the menu, and the food was fantastic. I couldn't believe how large the pancakes were for only $2.50 each. Together with three kids, we enjoyed our meal for under $30, drinks included. Plus, a half dozen donuts for just $5.25? What a great deal!

The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. It's a charming family-owned restaurant that you should definitely check out. The atmosphere is friendly, and while it's small, it has its own unique charm. My wife enjoyed a Cuban sandwich, and I had a hot dog—both were fantastic. We also ordered onion rings, and they were massive! We'll definitely be returning to this place.

Great food! Perfect bacon! Spicy french toast! Homemade donuts! The best prepared breakfast food I've been experiencing for years, and I make a lot of breakfast.

This is no more Joe Joe Joe Joes than the new owners took over from May 9, '18 and now called Soney 's. Doughnuts are still the best I had and cannot be beaten. The hash brown were really good, but the Omelet could use a push. Great coffee with a good choice.

I go here every day owners very down to earth. Excelent coffee, best doughnuts around. Food is outstanding at great prices. Will continue to visit till they close their doors. Which hopefully won't be anytime soon.
