They serve the best breakfast in Watford City and it 's not unusual to see the place packed with tradesmen during the breakfast hours. Also the waitstaff are awesome. We 've been regulars for a long time and Carla is our favorite staff member. She always dotes over our kids and provides super friendly service. We look forward to having her wait on us whenever we go to the Little Miss. My only criticism with this place is that every once in awhile there seems to be a little bit of an inconsistency in the quality of the food being served. I had to send back a prime rib a few weeks ago because it was cold and the texture/taste was off. I hated doing it (and I never send food back at restaurants), but at $25 a plate I just didn 't seem right to not let them know there was an issue there. Then again, there was a tomato soup on the buffet that night that was the best tomato soup I 've ever had. I guess you win some, you lose some. They 've still put out some of the best food I 've had in western North Dakota and we will remain frequent fliers at this joint. I think I 'm just going to stick to my husband 's advice about eating at the Little Miss. He says you 'll never go wrong ordering a burger or a breakfast option. Stick to the basics!
I came here after hiking Theodore Roosevelt national park north unit. I had the garden omelette with hash-brown and French toast, and the lemon pie a la mode. Everything was great!
I ate here with my fiancé food was ok after it finally came out waited while three other tables came in after us and got their food then got ours at the end of the meal we waited 15min waiting for the watress to come back with the ticket at that point my fiancé stood up went to the truck I waited a additional 10 minutes still with the waitress no where in sight so I at that point I put a 20 on the table and left terrible service lady was on meth or something
THIS PLACE SERIOUSLY ROCKS!!! I came for the food, but stayed for the attractions, including but not limited to: Huge pancakes, lovely waitresses, as much jelly as you can eat, dim lighting, warm, moist air, TWO bathrooms, several tables AND booths, a buffet that packs a serious wallop, a working cash register, a clean kitchen, paper napkins, state-of-the-art dining utensils, scrumptious desserts, black coffee, a fully functioning radio, a rustic atmosphere, Cerulean wallpaper, and to top it off, many of the employees have genuine North Dakotan accents! What 's not to love?!
We ordered the breakfast burrito and a veggie omelet. Hubby said the burrito was ok, the tortilla was a little greasy. He said it was pretty bland. The omelet was pretty good, but made with processed cheese. We would consider going back, but will look for a healthier/fresher option.
