Greggs - Watford

It can be challenging to find high-quality vegan baked goods at many places, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this restaurant offers three delicious options to choose from. Personally, I'm not a big fan of vegan meat alternatives, but I still found them to be tasty. The doughnuts have been likened to a Krispy Kreme alternative, and although I've never tried Krispy Kreme myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the light, yeast-based doughnuts with a sugar glaze. While all of them were tasty, I am personally not a fan of vegan meat alternatives, so it's not something I would typically order. However, I still found them to be very good. The donuts were compared to a Krispy Kreme alternative, and although I haven't tried Krispy Kreme myself, I really enjoyed the donuts. They were fluffy and easy to eat, with a sweet sugar glaze that I assume is similar to Krispy Kreme's. (Review updated on 2020-01-13)

I arrived late in the day, so the only choice available was a southern fried vegan chicken sandwich/baguette, but it was delicious. I wish there were more options available, Greggs!
