Jrc Global Buffet - Watford

Most of the staff at this restaurant are polite, accommodating, and smiling, and they clearly love their job. However, I had a terrible experience with a staff member in the Teppanyaki section. Despite waiting my turn to order and have shrimp cooked for myself, my family, and friends, he rudely told me to call them over instead. I agreed and asked him to cook some standard servings while I did so. Unfortunately, he ignored my order and cooked for customers who arrived after me. When I tried to speak with a manager, nothing was done and the staff member continued to prioritize other guests over me. I felt discriminated against and embarrassed. It seemed as though he didn't want to do his job and was purposely cooking slowly to deter people from waiting in line. The restaurant's ambiance and cleanliness were good, and the reception and dining staff were courteous and attentive. The overall food quality was good, with a variety of international cuisines offered at competitive prices.

The food was cold and salty, and the reception staff were impatient. Within an hour of eating, symptoms of food poisoning started. I will not be coming back.

The food quality was poor, and most of the dishes we tried had a strange smell. The food was cold, so we ended up just having fried chicken and fries. This JRC global buffet lacked variety compared to others we've been to, making it possibly the worst one we've experienced.

Visited for my grand daughter birthday this evening. Very good service and great choice of food. Dessert could have been better

I had quite high expectations about this restaurant so I took my family for a birthday treat, as I believe it used to be quite good. It certainly isn’t now! Tasteless cold food, no customer service at all, eating in the dark to hide the dirty tables and sticky floor. I can’t think of anything positive to say sadly, all the desserts tasted of nothing which I suppose is a talent! They give you tiny dessert pots but have no small spoons to eat them with. I would strongly suggest any other restaurant or market food stall in Watford over this, sorry! On the plus side the toilets were exceptionally clean.
