I went with a friend, and we ended up splitting the bill when she never asked how we were going to pay. I asked for my bacon cheeseburger to be medium well, and it showed up the way I wanted it cooked. The burger itself was cut in half, and fell apart every second I wanted to lift and bite the sandwich though. When I asked our server why it was, she said it was possible to check it and she comped it for us which was thoughtful and I would've paid for it either way. My friend mentioned her chicken sub was dry to me after we left and we wouldn't want to go there again. The music was too loud for how little customers were there for the time we went. Christina was a lovely server, but it seemed like it was an off day and she just didn't want to be there. Having lousy food and poor service isn't great for a first timer. While we were visiting Watkins Glen to walk the gorge, as part of a mini vacation, we decided to try this place. (A recommendation from our friends we met on our trip). They did not steer us wrong!! Just a nice local type of bar. Nothing fancy. We love these types of places. Plenty of seating. Our bartenders couldn’t have been better. They were so fun friendly. Service was excellent. The beers were great. I had one or two on tap. The wings were outstanding. Nice crisp outside, and a decent size. Great hot sauce (not too hot).
