Now, let's talk about the food, which is of course a highlight of the event. We started with pretzels as appetizers, and for our main courses, we chose chicken and a vegan lasagna with a hummus base. Karen presented us with six different menu options, including vegan choices that even non-vegans enjoyed. Although we couldn't taste the food before our wedding, which made us a bit anxious (as neither my husband nor I are foodies, but we wanted to get a glimpse of what we would be served), we were very pleased with how everything turned out. Many guests complimented the food, and we have no regrets about our menu selections. On the accounting side, I want to note that I, along with others, have mentioned a wish for better organization regarding checks. We were asked to send a check a second time, and there were delays in cashing them, which added an unnecessary layer of stress to our planning. Karen also requested old-fashioned cashier’s checks, so future clients should take that into consideration. It would greatly help if Karen could streamline the process. Lastly, Karen’s team shared lovely photos of our food and table setup on her Instagram, which was delightful to see. We felt quite rushed during the wedding and didn’t get a chance to appreciate the details, so it was nice to see them captured beautifully. Thank you, Karen!

Karen and her team are truly exceptional! They handled the catering for our wedding at Nestldown, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Karen graciously invited us to her home for a tasting, and the food was outstanding. We were incredibly impressed by the service, professionalism, and the overall experience we had with PIM. I highly recommend Karen and her crew for your next event—they will definitely make it a success!

I’m at a loss for words, except to say thank you. The entire team made this day truly special. We tried the chicken and waffle sandwich, and it was incredible. The staff was professional, and everything was well worth the price.

I got married October of 2021 and I can't believe how long it has taken me to write this review! Karen and her team are hands down amazing, not only is her food delicious she was absolutely wonderful to my husband and I through all of the Covid craziness and date changes and never tried to hit us with date change fee's. Karen did everything in her power to help us make our day so special and affordable, I would recommend her and sing her praises to anyone looking for a wonderful caterer for their wedding or event! Thank you so much Karen, Dustin and I are forever grateful!

Poetry in Motion was a great catering service for our wedding at Nestldown! We were given lots of flexibility on the menu and the appetizers were fabulous. For entrees, guests raved about the salmon in particular. Karen was flexible and accommodating. A couple things to note: 1) entree portion sizes were a little bit on the small side, 2) communication was a bit disorganized at times. But on the whole, we really enjoyed working with Poetry in Motion and would absolutely recommend to others!
