Top Donuts - Watsonville

I encountered an issue during my visit, but the female owner handled it graciously, so I decided to overlook my initial concerns and accepted her apology. However, I would like to suggest that clear signs be posted for customers in the future. As a first-time visitor, I appreciated the excellent chocolate donut and the good service. Thank you!

Top Donuts is my favorite donut shop in Santa Cruz County. If you visit between 6:55 and 7:05 AM each day, you'll find fresh glazed donuts topped with chocolate. What I appreciate about Top Donuts is the consistent quality of both the dough and the chocolate. Unlike most other shops, their donuts are never too dry or too greasy. They've really nailed it. The chocolate is fantastic—not overpowering, but just right.

Always fresh and delicious! This family-owned restaurant welcomes us with a smile and remembers us every time. I love this down-to-earth place that offers a wide variety of treats, from donuts and turnovers to tarts, bagels, and muffins... yum!

We always stop when we are near Watsonville, provided that this is perhaps once or twice a year, but we LOVE their cuddly filled bars. She was so kind and nice. 30 years in business. Feels good to support a local, long-term business. Great donuts, great people.

Best donuts in Watsonville. Always fresh and delicious. They usually run out by mid day so try and get there early. Also the lady in the front counter is always friendly and very nice.
