The environment and atmosphere are very peaceful and the owners are very friendly. they have a pinot noir of grapes that are cultivated in front of location is quite good. plan them to buy a bottle and go through the weinberg to the point of view. it is worth the windy journey to windy oaks.

My son Alex took us to enjoy the stunning view of Monterey Bay and the Pinot Noir vineyard at Windy Oaks! It was the best Pinot Noir I've tasted in all of Northern California! The selection of Pinot Noir is excellent, and the view from the top of Windy Hill is absolutely breathtaking!

Throughout Windy Oaks' Pinot Noir line up, one theme remains consistent; marriage of place and varietal. Jim creates beautiful examples of Santa Cruz Mountain Pinot Noir. The main vineyard extends up to a ridge that overlooks the Monterey Bay. You're surrounded by groves of redwood trees and solitary oaks.
