This place is not a dive bar, it is super clean and in good repair. The staff today, one person who we assumed was the owner was amazing. Super friendly and personable. He was the bartender, waiter, chef and yes, he was an amazing cook. The seafood was excellent. Spouse had the 11 ounce cold water Lobster tail. Son-in-law has Admiral's Platter with Scallops and Shrimp. Daughter had the Jimmy Burger and it was freaking huge! I had the 8 ounce Filet Mignon. All food was cooked perfectly. Food is not season's, salted or spicy. Hashbrowns and onion rings were some of the best we have had in a very long time. If you are looking for good food off the beaten path, then this is the place to go. We are already planning our next trip to Alpha for a meal at the Alpha Tap.
Good food friendly service. They have a 4 pound lobster tail on the menu.
My husband and I went to Alpha Tap around 5pm and were greeted by Sabrina, who also took our drink orders. She was very friendly and made us feel at home. I ordered the lobster for dinner and it was outstanding. Sabrina provided excellent service throughout our meal. We will definitely be returning to Alpha Tap in the future.

I drove an hour to try out this restaurant for the first time. The food did not disappoint, but the service was lacking. It seemed like they were understaffed for the night as we weren't offered refills and had to wait a long time for our meals.
