La Canoa - Waukegan

I chose my birthday for the first time and it was amazing! The waitress has forgotten us at the beginning, the menu is somewhat overwhelming, so we took our time to order, but that was good. I ordered the plate of the crab legs in her house sauce and the waitress had difficulty putting it on the table because it was so much crab legs. So the red snapper got, we shared our dishes and had so much food left. The prices are definitely worth it that it is against some seafood places. Margarita Pitcher was okay, a bit too sweet could not really taste alcohol, next time I would probably get a Michaelada. Overall, I recommend coming here.

I love this place, lots of food and drinks. Your foods are huge. Also recently discovered that there is an event area in the back on Fridays and Saturday nights they have dance floor as well. I will definitely recommend tasting this place.

Great place! The food was fabulous and plentiful, prices very reasonable, drinks were strong and tasty, and the hand-painted wall paintings, furniture and decor were charming. We'll be back.

This restaurant had a lot to do, it was a very authentic Mexican restaurant that I and my family loved! The chairs and walls were very beautifully painted and fascinating, my cup was handmade with clay and the Chilaquiles con carne was very delicious. The chips were crispy and hot, my food tasted fresh and good, and they give you quite large portions, definitely back to this place!!

Real Good Atmosphere. Delicious Food, and Goooooodddd Drinks. Live Music Too!
